Christopher Carrasco is born and raised in Bronx, NY. From a very early age he wanted to become an artist. By the age of eight he discovered Marvel Comics, which ignited his passion. Since then he's been drawing, sketching,painting, creating characters, and learning as much about the comic trade to become a sucessful cartoonist.

In 1998, Christopher attended the High School of Art and Design majoring in Fine Arts. Always incorporating what he learns into his Cartooning / Illustration work.

In 2002, Christopher furthered his art studies at the School of Visual Arts. Majoring in Cartooning/Illustration and sucessfully recieving his BFA in 2005. He learned a great deal of traditional and contemparary art/comic styles and techniques.

After graduating, and no longer able to intern at his job, he was immediately hired. And currently works as an assisstant teacher at Bellevue Hospital's "Educare Child Care Center." Upon graduating, he accepted freelance work from many clients and currently still does.

In late 2007 Christopher officially became a published freelance artist, by signing a one year contract with Hueniverse.com and having his work displayed on thier website for the world to see.

Christopher's work has appeared in many art exhibitions in his community, High School and while in College. In 2002 several of his pieces were displayed in The Point (a sucessful Bronx Community Center). His first publication came in the School of Visual Arts Journal in 2005. And the Bellevue Hospital Art Show in 2007.

Currently Christopher is doing sucessful freelance work with his Cartooning, Illustrations, and Storyboards, and making small Websites.
